Our cuffs come in size small, medium, and large, for both men and woman. You will need to specify whether it is for a male or a female.
What is your Jewellery made of?
All of our Jewellery is made from 925 sterling silver. Sterling Silver is the “whitest” precious metal and is extremely malleable. Pure silver is too soft to use in Jewellery; therefore, it is mixed or alloyed with other metals to make it stronger. Sterling silver contains at least 92.5% silver and so the international marking for sterling silver is 925.
Does sterling silver tarnish?
Metals naturally do tarnish over time. There are a couple of causes for this such as oxygen, perfumes, lotions, and skin acidity. Some people may have skin that is more acidic than others, and therefore the oxidation can occur at a quicker pace. Silver Jewellery will also oxidize and tarnish if it is not worn regularly.
How can I clean Jewellery that is tarnished?
Simply polishing your silver works well when the tarnishing is not too severe. Silver is soft and can become scratched easily, so it’s best to use either a special silver cloth to polish your items, or a cotton/micro-fibre/flannel soft and nonabrasive cloth. Do not use paper towels or tissues to polish your Jewellery as they contain fibres that can scratch the silver.
How else can I care for my silver Jewellery?
If properly cared for, the shine and colour of sterling silver items can be easily revived once they have tarnished, by cleaning or polishing them. Wearing and storing your sterling silver correctly will also go a long way to maintaining the shine and preventing discolouration. As a rule of thumb, stay away from commercial cleaners and dips for sterling silver as they can remove the anti-tarnish layer and ultimately harm the Jewellery
Do you only have two chain styles available?
The Rolo and Curb chains are our most popular necklaces, however we do have other styles, and lengths, available on request.
